Spurs down Suns, 125-108.

The Spurs went up by 12 in the second quarter, lighting up the scoreboard from the perimeter. Patty Mills finished on a 5/8 stroke from deep, 18 points and 5 assists with 2 steals. Mills sparked a 12-3 run for the champions, as the Spurs led 91-74 after the third quarter. The highlight showcase was Skal Labissiere's 20 points, 6 rebounds that included a trio of long range shots with 2 blocks and especially 100% on 8-8 shooting. Davis Bertans had 12 points, with 8 rebounds on two long-shots. Iman Shumpert was solid with 15 points, proving to be a core piece yet again with three 3PTers. Brandon Ingram rested as the game went along, finishing with 16 points and 2 blocks. Kentavius Caldwell-Pope gave 11 points, joining in on the 3PT shootout with a trio of his own and pulling off a nice cross-over move that freed him up past the line. Dejounte Murray had 12 points with 5 assists. For the Suns, Devin Booker had only 7 points on 2/9 shooting, missing 3 of his 4 attempts from deep

Spurs break away from Mavericks, 107-138 in scoring display.

Luka Doncic had a rough night. The Spurs broke out to a ten point lead early as the Mavericks struggled to shoot the ball well, even with new addition Kristaps Porzingis (3-11, 7 points, 7 rebounds). Exciting sophomore, Luka Doncic, had 10 points with six assists going 4-13 overall. The Spurs, meanwhile, wreaked havoc on Dallas making 15-33 shots from long range as the Mavs finished 3-13 instead. Patty Mills made three by his lonesome for 12 points and Avery Bradley erupted in the second quarter, finishing with 21 points. Brandon Ingram continues to shine in San Antonio, as the Spurs remain undefeated at home so far, finishing with 19 points, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Rudy Gay had 16 points. The third quarter was won 43-22 by the Spurs, the advantage splitting open to twenty-plus. Ingram took on the Lakers for the second time. Brandon Ingram helped his new Spurs get even with the Lakers tonight, dropping 18 on his old unit with 2 steals and 1 block, going 7/12 and 3/6 from long range. Patty Mills flanked him with 17 points, despite going 0/3 from 3PT range. Avery Bradley had 15 points with 7 assists and 3 steals. Kyle O'Quinn hoisted down 7 rebounds with 5 impressive blocks. Dejounte Murray contributed 11 points. For the Lakers, LeBron James can't be faulted for his performance of 38 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists with 3 steals & 3 blocks; a masterful performance (13/22, 2/2 3PT). Lonzo Ball had 16 points on 8/13 shooting with Kawhi Leonard contributing 15 points with 1 block and a steal. JaVale McGee had 11 points with 9 rebounds and one block. Rajon Rondo dished 6 assists.
