Spurs crush Pelicans, 122-83.
The AD saga continues for the hapless Pelicans. Brandon Ingram led the Spurs to an 11-0 run, and pretty soon the Spurs were up by forty points heading into the final period, 101-61 as most fans headed for the exits. The Pelicans just had no rhythm, flow or luck in this game and it only got worse. It became 37-23, then Dejounte Murray stole the ball leading to a buzzer-beating 3PTer by Rudy Gay. Iman Shumpert hit back-to-back 3PT daggers, as Mike Muscala got his first activation this season and notched 8 points, hitting some perimeter shots. San Antone went on a 22-4 run, leading 76-45 at halftime. Avery Bradley made two 3PTers, also. The rest: Dejounte Murray finished with 18 points. Avery Bradley: 15 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds.
