Western Conference Finals: Spurs outlast 50 by KD, win series 120-128. (4-1).

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green argued heatedly during a timeout.
Kevin Durant had 31 points by halftime, putting the Warriors post-season on his back and then some, tallying 50 by the final buzzer, the outcome not to his liking despite a 63-60 lead at the split. Spectators inside AT&T Center clapped and cheered as Durant and fellow Warrior Draymond Green had a heated exchange during a timeout. This timeout came after Patty Mills got the whistle on a 3PT attempt that splashed through the net, sparking a 14-4 run by the Spurs, putting them up 90-102 not a minute into the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Spurs met every survival effort by the Warriors with their own desire to cap this series and take on their newest rival, the Milwaukee Bucks, in a Finals rematch of last year. The Bucks will be ready, having been swept by the Spurs in last year's NBA Finals, and having been tested by the Philadelphia 76ers in a six-game war to claim the Eastern Conference crown.

Giannis "League MVP" Antetokounmpo is ready for the Spurs.
The Spurs would hold on in the fourth quarter, as Durant kept burying shots and so did Curry, but clearly the Slim Reaper had the better showing (24-33, 10 assists, 10 rebounds in a triple-double) with Steph going 8-18 from the field, despite Curry hitting the final shot for Golden State. Klay Thompson shot 4-12.

Avery Bradley gave his all, not scoring much, but crashing to the hardwood on steal attempts and generally frustrating Curry into a bad shutout performance. Brandon Ingram also finally found his shot, splashing in triples on the fast break, notably after Curry was swatted by Joakim Noah, whose remarkable 18-point, 8 rebound performance powered this victory. The former Bull had an and-1 layup that all but sealed the outcome, were it not for Bradley's 3PT dagger after Andre Iguodala missed two clutch free throws in the final minute.

Dejounte Murray fearlessly attacked the rim all series long.
Patty Mills had 20 points, making five from deep cover, as Ingram dropped 19 on the night. Dejounte Murray was the high-point man with 22, showcasing his growth as floor general with six assists and exposing Curry's defensive limitations as he continuously drove to the basket, at one point hitting a clutch three over Curry with the shot clock ticking down. Shumpert, Labissiere & Smith combined for 20.

In seizing the Western Conference Title, the Spurs only committed two turnovers.
