The Finals: Late surge by Spurs gets road split, 128-122 (3-1).

The Spurs avenged Game 3 with inspired play tonight.
The Spurs got out running on the Bucks, steaming from the Game 3 upset and surging in the final two minutes with big-time shots by Patty Mills & Brandon Ingram to silence the Milwaukee crowd as the lead grew out of reach, despite Eric Bledsoe's second-best effort in this series of 43 points (19/28).

The Greek Freek came up meek in this outing, though, dampening his team's ability to fend off the tactical Spurs. He had an unsightly 8 points and 6 assists, double-teamed all game long by the Spurs in a new defensive scheme.

Brook Lopez scored 20 points with 16 rebounds, as George Hill notched 16 points on his former team of years past. Malcolm Brogdon was the only other Buck to score big with 11 points, as Khris Middleton struggled for only 7. San Antonio owned the 1st Quarter: 39-26. The 2nd Quarter went 31-30, Bucks, and although Milwaukee narrowed the gap with a 32-21 halftime response, the Spurs overpowered them in the final period 38-33 to seal the victory.

San Antonio splashed nineteen 3PT daggers, showcasing its perimeter excellence, spoiling 65% overall from the field by Milwaukee and even 13-13 from the free throw line, as the Spurs uncharacteristically shot 17-23 from the penalty marker. The decisive element was the turnovers, a staggering 19 by the Bucks with the Spurs only having eight as a unit, muting the would-be 38-22 rebound advantage by Milwaukee.

Brandon Ingram had a fabulous 39 points, making six from long range. Avery Bradley had 23 points, Patty Mills scored 20 with Dejounte Murray's fifteen and Joakim Noah's eleven highlighting the rest.
