Spurs stagger in Windy City, 88-101.

Zach LaVine wowed the Chicago crowd tonight.
The Spurs simply came unscrewed in Chicago this evening, as the Bulls blitzed them 29-17 in the third quarter. San Antonio couldn't score like their normal selves in this road visit, going 41% overall and making only four 3PT shots, a polar opposite from the norm.

Meanwhile, the Bulls shot 54% and dominated the glass, 44-28, causing 12 turnovers by the Spurs. Zach LaVine soared high for 22 points with multiple dunks that made the crowd cheer at the beat-down they were witnessing, as the Spurs failed to even eclipse 100 points. Khris Dunn looked nice with 18 points and 9 assists.

Patty Mills looked arctic out there, going 2-12 from long range, and 2/15 overall. Brandon Ingram did his best with 24 points, but went 11-21 by the buzzer despite 3 steals. Dejounte Murray started strong with 20 points. Rudy Gay chipped in 13, but went 4/12.

Robin Lopez commanded the rebounds tonight with 15 of them, and 10 points. Otto Porter Jr scored 15 points. The Spurs simply couldn't get over the hump, their scoring ability suffering a massive drought.
