Spurs storm past Pacers, 106-119.

Dejounte Murray sparked the comeback by the Spurs.
Looking to recover after a narrow defeat in Los Angeles, the Spurs wound up having a tough battle with the visitor Indiana Pacers. After a close first quarter, the road team blew open a 13-PT lead to win the second quarter 38-23, trimmed down to 11 at the break.

The Spurs, in their trademark style, stormed back with a 37-19 run in the third quarter, led by Dejounte Murray's dashes toward the rim and a very hot Brandon Ingram, in his second home outing as a Spur, donning the camo uniforms tonight for this match-up.

It stayed close until midway in the final quarter, where the Spurs pulled away and never looked back, with Ingram just bombing away, looking a bit like Kevin Durant pulling up on the fast break. The Pacers feisty effort wasn't helped much by a cold Victor Oladipo (6-17) and Darren Collison (4/15), meaning well but spoiling still a solid performance by Domatis Sabonis (18 points, 8 rebounds).

Fortune seemed to be on the Spurs side of things, as both Patty Mills and Skal Labissiere crashed in 3PTers, drawing the foul and making Indiana suffer. Brandon Ingram finished with 27 points on 12-19 shooting, nabbing a steal and a block. Kyle O'Quinn is impressing so far, swatting 2 blocks and pushing for that starting center role as Noah struggled in his game early. Avery Bradley had 15 points and Patty Mills had 13. Mario Chalmers is getting familiar with his new team also, making two 3PT shots.

The Spurs next host the Lakers, eager to even the season series.
